In the official King’s Birthday Honours, Black Diamondz founder Monika Tu was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the General Division for service to the community through charitable organisations. The award acknowledges Monika’s decades-long commitment to leveraging corporate and real estate success into philanthropic support for Australian healthcare, youth services, and the arts.
Beyond leading the luxury property sector, Monika serves as Event Chair and Ambassador for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) Lunar New Year Celebration, raising millions of dollars annually for pediatric health infrastructure. She is also a Founding Patron of the Australian Red Cross Society of Women Leaders, an Honorary Ambassador for the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Australia, and a Board Advisor to Sydney FC.
